When an investment group renovated their Manhattan offices, they commissioned a unique piece of decor to reflect their geographic reach: a 4x6-ft backlit map of the Americas, highlighting capitals, rivers, ranges, peaks, lakes and islands.

Nine LED panels framed in black aluminum, draws only 135 watts, four weeks from concept to installation.

Maps are great for commercial interiors: nobody hates maps, and a good one offers something new on every glance (one becomes too familiar with office art passed a thousand times per year.)
